What Is DC And Ac In Electrical

What Is Dc And Ac

What Is Full Form Of DC Current

Yes, we often get this question in many examinations. In which we are asked what is the expansion form of DC or tell the full form of DC current. So the answer will be D.C.  is called a direct current.

What Is DC Current

The current whose one direction and value does not change,it is constant, it is called DC current. Due to the value and direction being fix in any direct current circuit, it is used in many such works where we cannot use AC type of current.

What Is The Type Of  DC

By the way, DC is mainly of three types. But no matter what the DC is, there is no change in its one direction. The direction is always Fix. DC current type

1.       Pure Direct Current
2.       Varying Direct Current
3.       Pulsating Direct Current [Pulsating Direct Current]

What Is The Use Of Dc

There are many works of electrical in which we need only DC, these works cannot be done without DC type current. Such as - battery charging, electroplating, metal reining, extract welding, operation of electronics equipment, operation of DC motor, electromagnet, arc lamp etc. In this article, you have learned about the Full Form of DC Current

Advantages and Disadvantages of DC Electricity

Advantages Of DC (Benefits Of DC ) -

1. DC is not a MC.
2. The speed of motors in DC can be easily controlled.
3. DC can be used for battery charging.
4. DC is used for electroplating.

Disadvantages of DC (DC losses) -

1. DC subsidy is very expensive.
2. The output of DC generator is low.
3. The transformer cannot be used in DC.
4. DC section cannot be produced more than 650 W.

Advantages and Disadvantages of AC Electricity

Advantages of AC (benefits of AC ) -

1. AC is currently being trimmed to 765 kV. also its is estimated to be 1200 kV.
2. The voltage can be reduced or increased as required by using the transformer.
3. Having AC phase is more beneficial.
4. Economical. It is going to provide more profit at a lower cost.
5. AC phase is connected to motor.

Disadvantages of AC ( loss of AC ) -

1. Cannot use AC in battery charging.
2. AC signal phase is not connected to motor.
3. The risk of leakage in AC operation is high.
4. AC is available in the world. It can not be used due to lot of devices.
5. A.C.  cannot be done from the ground
6. The speed of motors in AC cannot be easily controlled.
